Tom Thibodeau stated that he expects Jalen Brunson to return to the New York Knicks lineup from a sprained ankle earlier than the playoffs start.
“He is doing mild capturing and he is out of the boot,” stated Thibodeau on Thursday. “So there’s regular progress and we’ll see the place it goes from there.”
Thibodeau added that Brunson will get one other checkup on Friday.
It was reported over the weekend that Brunson was not anticipated to return till late March or early April.
Brunson initially suffered the harm on March 6.
