Bloomington, In poor health. – The Bloomington Bison introduced that the staff has signed ahead Brett Budgell to a contract for the 2025-26 season.
Budgell completed third in staff scoring final season with 37 factors (15g-22a) in 47 video games. The St. John’s, Newfoundland native tied the staff document with an eight-game level streak (4g,-7a) from Jan. 4-25, 2025, and holds the document for the longest help streak, which included a helper in seven of these eight video games. Budgell added 4 assists in 11 video games with Hartford of the American Hockey League.
The 24-year-old has totaled 119 factors (45g-74a) in 163 profession ECHL video games with Bloomington, Iowa and Newfoundland Growlers. He has skated in 30 profession AHL video games with Hartford and Iowa.
