The Columbus Blue Jackets have named Stefan Matteau an assistant coach for the membership’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters.
Matteau begins his teaching profession following 12 seasons as knowledgeable participant, culminating with 15 video games with the Monsters in 2024-25. He skated in 411 profession AHL video games with Cleveland, Colorado, Chicago, St. John’s and Albany, totaling 76 objectives and 93 assists for 169 factors.
A primary-round decide by the Devils within the 2012 NHL Draft, Matteau performed 92 video games within the NHL with Columbus, Colorado, Vegas, Montreal and New Jersey, registering six objectives and 5 assists.
