Jock Landale and the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a contract. Landale not too long ago cleared waivers after being let go by the Houston Rockets.
Memphis is buying and selling Jay Huff to the Indiana Pacers, in a deal to create cap house to renegotiate-and-extend Jaren Jackson Jr. That left the Grizzlies shorthanded within the frontcourt as each Jackson and Zach Edey will enter coaching camp coming off offseason surgical procedures. Jackson had surgical procedure for turf toe and Edey had surgical procedure on a difficult ankle.
Landale averaged 4.8 factors and three.3 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per sport for the Rockets final season.
