Jun.19 (GMM) Former F1 venue Kyalami has leapt into pole place to take Method 1 again to the African continent.

Nevertheless, many names have been linked with a future African GP, together with Cape City, Rwanda, and even Morocco and Zanzibar.
However former South African GP host Kyalami, situated simply north of Johannesburg and having staged at least 21 F1 races till 1993, has simply had its plans for F1-ready FIA ‘Grade 1’ certification accredited.
At the moment, the circuit has FIA Grade 2 standing.
