Novak Djokovic has kicked off his quest for a fourth Roland Garros crown in a commanding style.
Within the first spherical of the Paris Grand Slam, the sixth seed eased previous Mackenzie McDonald in straight units, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, needing slightly below two hours on Courtroom Philippe-Chatrier to seal the win.
Djokovic managed the match from begin to end. With a dominant serve, exact returns, and a different all-court recreation, he left McDonald with no actual probabilities to problem.
Novak took the opening set with a break within the sixth recreation, then made an early transfer within the second set with a break within the first recreation, later doubling his result in go up 5-2. Though the American managed to get well one break, Djokovic shortly shut the door. The third set adopted an analogous sample, with a decisive break within the sixth recreation paving the best way for a routine end.
Within the second spherical, on Thursday, Novak will face Corentin Moutet, who emerged victorious from the all-French conflict in opposition to qualifier Clement Tabur 6-3. 7-6, 6-3.
