Texas has employed Sean Miller as their subsequent head coach. Miller spent the earlier three seasons at Xavier following a prolonged run as head coach of Arizona and can change Rodney Terry.

Terry took over for Chris Beard on an interim foundation in 2022 and was given the job completely after a run to the Elite Eight that season. Xavier defeated Texas within the First 4 final Wednesday.
