Field Hockey Canada launches CSAI applications for funding

FHC invitations purposes for Group Sport Grants which shall be directed to Stick Collectively, Hockey ID and Strolling Hockey Tasks

Area Hockey Canada (FHC) is proud to announce funding to the sum of $800,000 over two years particularly directed in direction of Group Sport for All Initiative. CSAI funding is directed at eradicating limitations and rising sport participation charges for under-represented teams. Its key goal is to help neighborhood sport initiatives for under-represented teams, specifically, Black, Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQI+, low-income individuals, individuals with a incapacity, newcomers and seniors to extend participation and retention in sport.

This initiative goals to remove limitations to sport participation, making area hockey accessible, inclusive, and inexpensive for underserved communities throughout Canada and Area Hockey Canada is proud to have already disbursed over half one million into neighborhood tasks over the previous three years. In doing so we proceed to execute our strategic precedence to create a powerful home hockey nation which is inclusive, secure and accessible to all from coast to coast to coast.  

Group organizations, golf equipment, and teams are inspired to use for funding below three particular venture areas: 

1. Stick Collectively: 

Focused in direction of underserved teams, this venture builds on earlier years’ Stick Collectively successes to offer area hockey alternatives for gratis. It promotes accessible neighborhood sport, fosters social connections, and develops native management, using a place-based method to neighborhood growth. Profitable tasks will supply low-to-zero price programming for all ages, genders and backgrounds and engages neighborhood representatives as leaders to make sure visibility and relatability. 2. Strolling Hockey:
