The Colorado Avalanche have acquired forwards Brock Nelson and ahead William Dufour from the New York Islanders in change for defenseman Oliver Kylington, ahead Calum Ritchie, a first-round choose within the 2026 NHL Draft and a conditional third-round choose within the 2028 NHL Draft.
Dufour, 23, has collected eight targets and 10 assists in 45 video games for the AHL’s Bridgeport Islanders this season. The third-year professional has totaled 44 targets and 47 assists for 91 factors in 169 AHL video games.
A fifth-round alternative by the Islanders within the 2020 NHL Draft, Dufour has appeared in a single NHL sport, making his debut on Jan. 18, 2023.
