New program helps and develops younger officers
Area Hockey Canada is thrilled to announce the launch of the Younger Umpire Program, a brand new initiative designed to focus on, help, and develop younger officers from throughout Canada. This two-year program will present members with mentorship, coaching, and alternatives to officiate at nationwide and potential worldwide ranges, shaping the subsequent era of Canadian umpires.

The Younger Umpire Program is designed to offer structured development alternatives for younger officers, providing:
