The journey is over for the Goran Ivanisevic-Elena Rybakina partnership.
The 2001 Wimbledon champion Ivanisevic, who beforehand coached Novak Djokovic and Marin Cilic, introduced he’s not teaching Rybakina.
The pair began a trial partnership in late 2024.
“After our trial interval that completed with Australian Open, I want Elena and her crew better of luck shifting ahead,” Ivanisevic mentioned on social media.
Hypothesis swirled Ivanisevic would step down after Rybakina introduced she was re-hiring her ex-coach, Stefano Vukov, to her crew. Nonetheless, the WTA hit Vukov with a provisional suspension so he was not current on the Australian Open.
