The New Orleans Pelicans have suspended Zion Williamson for one recreation for a violation of group insurance policies, later reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania as being late for a group flight. Williamson will miss Friday’s recreation in opposition to the Philadelphia 76ers and can rejoin the Pelicans on Saturday forward of Sunday’s recreation on the Boston Celtics.
Williamson returned to the Pelicans’ lineup this week in a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
