Longtime UFC veteran Clay Guida, who turned 43 only a few days again, was submitted by streaking light-weight sensation Chase Hooper as a part of the UFC 310 combat card final weekend in Las Vegas. The loss marked the third straight for Guida and his twenty-fifth general, with 12 of these defeats coming by the use of submission.
Not surprisingly, UFC CEO Dana White desires “The Carpenter” to retire.
“The child’s obtained some expertise!” Guida wrote on social media. “Congratulations to you and your camp [Chase Hooper]. What a efficiency!!! You will have a shiny future younger man!!! Due to everybody within the GUIDA MAFIA that got here to Vegas to help us and the remainder of the athletes!!! We really have the perfect followers within the World!!! We will probably be again!!!”
When and the place stays to be seen.
Guida (38-25) was inducted into the UFC Corridor of Fame again in 2019 for his epic “Battle of the Evening” automotive crash reverse fellow 155-pound legend Diego Sanchez. That $50,000 efficiency bonus is only one of 10 post-fight honors awarded to “The Carpenter” in his storied UFC profession, which began at UFC 64 all the way in which again in 2006.
“Recognize the chance to share the cage with you!” Hooper replied. “Wishing all the perfect for you and your loved ones! At all times been a fan of yours and at all times will probably be.”
